Hi,
I am looking for expressions concerning spherical bessel functions and Ricatti functions for COMPLEX ARGUMENT.
When complex arguement (eg/ 10+j 13) for sperical bessel functions in MATHCAD is used the result is very large(10 exp 22). Is this normal? the result is same in FORTRAN aswell.

| What do You mean by spherical bessel function ? Is it the bessel function of third kind (Hankel function) ? And what order of this function ?

The spherical Bessel function (aka half-order Bessel functions) is found in the case of systems with spherical symmetry.
j(n,x) = (pi / 2x)^1/2 * J(n+1/2, x)
Like Bessel functions there are 3 kinds of Spherical Bessel functions- first kind, second kind and spherical hankel functions.
It should be RICATTI BESSEL FUNCTIONS not RICATTI FUNCTIONS.

Is it possible to share the information on Spherical Bessel Functions for COMPLEX ARGUMENT.
