Of course, Hsp1ce for linux is very useful.
BTW, IC5 is also available for your requirement.

Re: Is there a Linux circuit simulator?

There is a list of circuit simulators that run under Linux at:

Re: Is there a Linux circuit simulator?

Thanks a lot!
I have one more quiestion:
Why the magic word "download" is not to be found on Synopsys website? How could one acquire at least a demo version?Suppose Hspice is not under GPL...

You can try the version 2002 or the newer one.

Re: Is there a Linux circuit simulator?

You're right. There is no GPL version of HSpice nor a demo.

In order to download HSpice or any ther tools from Synopsys, you have to sign in into Solvenet.

Re: Is there a Linux circuit simulator?

Ic 5.0 and newer supprot a lot of simulators. However, you must have the interface licencse. i use in linux always the newest version of hspice and get no problem.
BTW, picasso (synopsys), hsim (Nassda --> one of my favorite tools) are supported!
