I know there is a PalmOS mulator fow windows, what about PocketPc emulator or Linux embedde. before I buy the real thing I would like to have a feal first.
another Interesting Q: Is it possible to design your own PDA running these OS

Just one question !
why do you want to use linux to emulate the pocketpc? .. if is because you want to port LINUX to it ... The question makes sense .. Otherwise
you better pay $30 to microsoft an they will send you visual studio for windows CE with mips ,arm and some other chip simulators included.
I never heard of a pocket pc simulators for linux !

MS Visual C++ embedded can be downloaded for free (at least a while ago) and i think it includes simulators. I don't know about emulators.
Running Linux on a PDA is experimental. Search the net for information about running Linux on the PDA you wanna buy! Most of the time only 'older' models are supported. Don't count on easy installation of linux on your PDA
