Hello everybody
Does anyone do research on serial link ?
My professor ask me do research on this topic and tell me that I can find some information from papers of Mark A. Horowitz , Chi-Kong Ken Yang .
But I still can't figure out all what it is?
Can anyone give me some hints or data to direct me ?
Thank you

If you donīt even know what category your question belongs to..then I see black for you anyway (o;
Seriously..what "serial link" are you referring to?
Serial communication between 2 devices or what?

My professor ask me to do serial link with clock
and data recovery capability to NRZ data . So it's
about optic transceiver design .

Hmm..why don't you have a look at Horowitz's homepage then?
And don't tell me which one...it's the first search result of google (o;
And...no relation to optics what you're asking for..though it may use optcal transmission...I assume you want to achieve this circuit in a FPGA? Then you should ask in CPLD/FPGA forum...

I have visited his web . I just want to see
someone's (other than Master Google) views about this topic . Do u do this topic ? Do u understand
this topic ? If u don't . What's wrong with this
subject ? This is not a forum ? Or u r classroom ?
I am sorry for my crosspost . If u think this is
not in RF domain . Please help me to move this subject to another zone (no trash can )

FPGA/CPLD ? You suggest me to do this topic in this
way ? Do u think 3.2 GHz CDR can be implemented
in FPGA/CPLD way ?? Please tell me how to do ?
If u can implement it , u will be on JSSC Conference

I think davorin is right. People have to put at least understandable questions.
The question was:
“Does anyone do research on serial link ?”
The area of this question is very wide. I think even in astronomy can be the answer
