Thanks to someone else, I just found this useful link...
http://www-mtl.mit.edu/research/perrottgroup/tools.html
The tools are free and available for download at the site.
An excerpt from the full CppSim description:
CppSim is a free behavioral simulation package that leverages the C++ language to allow very fast simulation of systems. Users enter designs in a graphical schematic editor, Sue2, and run the simulations as well as view results within CppSimView (a custom waveform viewer for CppSim). Users can also run simulations and plot signals directly within Matlab6 for Windows.
This version of CppSim includes all packages needed for standalone operation - you need no other packages or licenses to run simulations and plot signals. More specifically, it includes CppSimView, Sue2, the Hspice Toolbox, Emacs, the MinGW g++ compiler, the base CppSim routines, and the PLL Design Assistant program. Installation is straightforward - simply run the self extracting setup file and follow the instructions that follow.
CppSim is especially useful for the simulation of phase-locked.
For Sue2:
Sue2 is an updated version of the Schematic User Environment (SUE) package (based on version 2.4.1) written by Lee Tavrow for integrated circuit design.
The updates applied to create Sue2 are quite substantial, and include a new netlisting and canvas memory allocation framework, migration to the most recent TCL/TK package for Windows, and a general update of the visual interface.
Sue2 is open source software – see the COPYING file within the Sue2 directory for details on copying/licensing issues.
The current version of Sue2 supports only Spice netlisting. Future versions will include support of Verilog and IRSIM. Also, Spice netlisting does not yet include support for buses – that capability will also be added in the future.
Cheers,
FoxyRick.

FREE.
according to the toper telling, i creat schematic from SUE2, and convert it to the Hspice netlist .
and after learning from cppsim manual, i can run it in the matlab with test.par file, but the result is that
matlab tell me : no stimula associated input is found .
and whatever i try to modify the test.par , the result is not change, which almost make me mad!
