hey frnd.....
i have same problem interfacing lcd to 89c51.do u have any code idia.
i think that we have to convert bcd cone in to ascii code n then have to transmit to the ports.
is it ok???
i will try it.but i don`t have any idia abt interupts require for lcd????

hello,

i ve developed a 253 line codeto put out hex equivalent at the txd pin of 89c51 for a 16digit matrix keyboard interefaced to 89c51.

I can tell u 16x2 LCD interfacing from Atmel 89c51 its very simple i will post a file which includes all the info for driving LCD including code(Assembly Language) with circuit diagram. If wanted plz reply.

i need a hardware design for 16x2 LCD interfacing from Atmel 89c51 . we are doing project using atmel for measuring frequency and duty cycle.friends mail me if u have a a hard ware design for interfacing as well as coding
