I need an advice about export to DXF format from CST4.0.
I can translate only VACUUM box slice. Other model's bodys are not translating to the AutoCad.

DXF a 2D format and can carry only planar structure information.

In MWS v4 the structure that is exported in DXF format is the xy plane of the global coordinate system or (alternatively) the uv plane of the local WCS...

This means that you have to align your uv local WCS to the selected face of the structure that you want to export in DXF Smile

Read the help about "Export DXF" which clearly states:

Quote:
The cross sections of all solids within the xy-plane or – if a WCS is active – the uv-plane will be stored in the DXF file.

Hope this helps.
mogwai.

ps. when exporting, you get a preview of the plane that you will get on the final DXF file (in red line)...

why don't you use SAT format? Then structure will be translated in 3D.
