Hi,
In ur xilinx installation dir, u shall find [xilinxcorelib] folder. Compile all vhd files from it. That's the Xilinx simulation lib.

Search on xilinx site under support Record Number: 15338
or: "CompXLib - How do I compile simulation models for the Xilinx 6.1i and 5.1i/5.2i software?"
there are also instructions for other simulators.
