Hello i am looking for a micro to interface with a adc board. I am hoping to find something cheap that will read in data from the micro at 480kbits/sec serially. We were going to use one of the 64180 variants that we use for other products but it doesnt seem fast enough.

The Adc (www.ti.com ADS1251) itself will assert a data ready line then you have to clock 24bits of data out of it in 3usecs otherwise it will have an incomplete read and will try to reset itself.

It would also be good if the micro could preform some sort of rolling filter to average each 24bit reading as it came in.

This is all the device will be doing and we would like something reasonably cheap. So if anyone has any ideas then they would be much appreciated Rolling Eyes
