Re: pic16f877 cash register

Hi brother, In my opinion your must:
First: I believe that it would be necessary the general definition of the product that will be developed, the main functions and the way of interface with the user.
In this in case that it could be as the example below: (this example was removed of a menu of a machine produced here in Brazil):
--> Types of coffee:
* Pure Coffee
* Express Coffee
* Capuccino Coffee
* Coffe with Cream
* Coffee with Milk

--> Types of Teas:
* Black Tea
* Black Tea with Lemmon
* Green Tea
* Orange Tea
Second: Basead in some information listed up, You can ansewer the following questions:

-> LCD type
|
|---> Graphic LCD?
|
|---> Pattern Character LCD?

-> Keyboard
|
|---> Single (ENTER, UP, DOWN)?
|
|---> Some customized keys?

-> Microcontroller Choice

-> Type of Interface with central for removed casch; maintenance; supplying and status:
|
|---> GPRS industrial modem
|
|---> Analog modem

-> Types of main control:
|
|---> Refrigeration
|
|---> Heating

-> Cash control

-> etc...

After, then You need defined the hardware and creating the electronic schematic and pcb for test purpose...
When the pcb are manufactured, You can write some partials functions for the microcontroller, like:
* LCD function
* Keypad function
* Acknolloged cash function
* Control of the heating and refrigeration
* Interface with central....

Is my primary idea, if you need more question, send-me pm message!
