I need control a valve actioned by motor ( open contact and close contact)
On the PLC,s there are a instruction to implement the PID, but whith a % output.
Someone cant help me how convert linear output to time up o down.
I have read is necessary know the time that it takes to move from close to open, but how translate ??????

When a plc supports PID there s often an other instruction which must
be used directly on th output of the PID.
Search if your PLC has the instruction SERVO. it is used to switch on or switch off
something depending of the value of the PID_OUT
