Post29 Aug 2003 4:19   a problem about simulation in qu(at)rtus ii 3.0

I'm new to @ltera's PLD chips and its developing software----qu(at)rtus ii 3.0. I've been using xilinx's ISE for a year. I think ISE is better than qu(at)rtus in most aspects. A troublesome problem I encounter using qu(at)rtus is the simulation using modelsim. qu(at)rtus ii 3.0 alleges it can support and automaticlly launch Modelsim @ltera Edition and Modelsim SE,its advanced opion indicates when using Modelsim it can support testbench mode, but i fail verytime i try. Can anybody give me some help?

if u are using old modelsim license the bug is in ur license file.
modelsim works nice on the original license file from aldec.
you can switch back to ver2.2 or can upgrade to ver 3.0 sp1.
that should solve ur problem.
