Is there a way to get ISE to accept a filename with a _ in it? Trying to sythesize opencores MAC and I can't even load the files in due to it bitching about it..

I am using ISE5.2i for a long time now. I have never faced any problems with file names containing "_".
I have even used opencores MAC core earlier and had no problems with it.
Check if the folder containing the rtl has a space in it. ISE does not accept such folders

Hi!
Never had that problem with "_" anyway look at user guide to be 100% shure and don't use space in the project name or dir tree.
