I use the lic file from the fpg@ adv(at)ntage 5.2 package. Everytthing work ok. inside the package except m(at)delsim(v5.5e). After some search on this forum, I managed to get the m(at)delsim license error fixed. By some editing in the license file. But I still cannot do simulation. I got this error when m(at)delsim is in the middle of loading the design.
# ** Fatal: Bad pointer access.
# Time: 0 ns Iteration: 0 Region: /testbench/uut/buffer1
# FATAL ERROR while loading design
# Error loading design
Any idea on what would causing this. Is I still have a license problem.

I have also the same problem with M(at)delSim 5.7d
(# ** Fatal: (SIGSEGV) Bad pointer access.)
My guess it's that it is related to winXP...
Any solution ???

I got such problem before in 5.7x.
But after update the license, the problem was gone.
So it may be one of the solutions to fix this problem.

Actually I solved my pb easily... There were 'space' in my project path... M(at)delSim didn't like that...
It works fine now.
