Corporate feeds are best method for uniform power distribution. For larger array the maximum sidelobe level may vary within -10 to -13.6 dB. You have to use a number of Tee and step junctions and impedance transformer to achieve it. For linear array you have to use power divider to achieve 1 to 2, 2 to 4, 4 to 8 .... way power dividers. Once you design 1 to 2 way pd, that can be repeated to achieve higher order feed network. For planar array you have to make 1x2 array first and then, 2x2 array which can be used as a building block of any larger order array.

Array becomes very difficult to simulate for larger than 8x8 array with the existing softwares like IE3D or Ensemble.

Exclamation Idea Question
