i am using hsp50216,but the datasheet ,fn4557.pdf from intersil is to simple,i cann't find any information about the uP mode Pin,so that i do not know how to interface my tms320vc5416 to the hsp50216,can any one help me?thank u very mch.

The uP Mode affects two other pins, the WR*,DSTRB* and RD*, RD/WR*. When uP Mode pin is low, the pins becomes WR* and RD*. This is for sysems that use seperate Read and Write lines. If the uP Mode pin is high, you will use RD/WR* for Reads and Writes, but DSTRB* must be asserted to get data in or out. To interface with the tms320vc5416, you will set uP mode = 1.
