Upgrade from TDS2CM to TDS2MM is possible.
All you have to do is:
1. replace 32kx8 RAM memory with 128k x 8/SO32/70ns/5V
2. Replace EPROM memory with 27C040 (512k x 8/PLCC32/70ns/5V)
programmed with "tds2mm.hex"
It works fine after the upgrade.

Hello
I have a TDS 210 equipped with TDS2MM.
Are you aware of firmware upgrades (and how to do it) ?
My scope has the following version number
TDS210 = v 1.19
TDSMM = v 1.04

Communication module's firware can be upgraded only
by replacing OTP EPROM. I don't know how to
upgrade scope's firmware.

My TDS210 has firmware 1.06, is it possible to update it? How?
What are the enhancements in newer versions?

It's possible to upgrade the firmware. There are two types of TDS210.
Old TDS210 with PLCC EPROM memory in socket.
New with soldered FLASH memory.
TDS210 with firmware 1.06 is the old one,
so you have to replace the EPROM memoory
