This is a good program, but the free version is somewhat limited--you can't view all of the cells in a gds2 file and you can't adjust the display filter size. The stream-in performance is very good, but the redraw speed isn't that great.
You may also want to check out StreamVista from Semigy Designs. It is a new GDSII viewer for Windows. The website is www.semigy.com.
