Post07 Mar 2003 14:07   PCAD 2002 users, Helpppppp ?

Hi,

I made the batronix programmer for AT89C20\4051 microcontroller.
I build the double side pcb i found at this site.

But when i tried to build their AT89C51\52\55 programmer, I found that the pcb is complex {there many Ics pins connected as via }

So i decided to build my pcb.
I used PCAD 2002 to build my schematic.
I choosed all footprints manualy.
Then i genereted the netlist.
But when i load this netlist in PCB,it gives a error

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Net NET00000: Pin 1 of D2-1 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00000: Pin 1 of T2-1 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00002: Pin 2 of D2-2 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00003: Pin 2 of T1-2 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00004: Pin 2 of D1-2 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00004: Pin 1 of T1-1 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00004: Pin 2 of T2-2 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net GND: Pin 1 of D1-1 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net GND: Pin 3 of T1-3 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
Error: Net NET00048: Pin 3 of T2-3 not found.
Either pin does not exist or TYPE and PATTERN are ambiguous.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What i understand it. the footprint of D1, D2, T1 and T2 is not match

D1 is LED, I enter the footprint LED100
D2 is Zener, I enter the footprint DO-35
T1 and T2 are BC548 transistors, i enter the footprint TO-92

What is the problem ? please ?

Thanks

Hi,

First off, did you create a component part to tie the symbol and pattern together?.(Library executive).
Did you select the library files in PCB that these parts come from?.
Have you modified the parts in the library and not force updated them in the schematic or PCB file?.

I use Pcb all the time and this sort of thing only happpens when it is not used correctly.
If I can help, I will, PM me if you do not wish to post on forum.
