I need some help on how to seperate the audio track from an Audio Video (AV) file.........in an FPGA.

| What is the file type? AVI? WMA? AFS? MPG?

| hi, if you are trying to separation the sound from the avi, mpg, mpeg, etc, you can use the adobe premiere to do so..

Yeah - many video editors may be used...
But this issue is likely in a wrong forum: It has nothing to do with design of electronics, nor EDA. Please, keep to the topics, and thus keep Elektroda tidy!
My proposal is to discuss AVI issues in a multimedia board, not in an EDA board.

Guys,
A little confusion over here...
The question was: how to seperate them in a FPGA? Not on the PC.
So I think this is not off topic on this forum.
