I need information on IM50240 or PWB50240 a 4 digits numeric display from optrex. Can anybody help me?

Hi friend. Actually I am looking for information aobut the same display. Do you help me with some information ? I don't know what kind of display it is, and i need to drive it now. Help me please

The interface pinout is as follows:

1 - input data
2- latch clock
3- shift clock
4- input square waves of 50% duty cycle
5- NC
6- Vcc +5v
7- GND -
8- SW1 CLEAR
9- SW2 SECURE
10 CHASSIS GND

Download datasheet for HD44100 and look up info on "Static Drive".
This will provide timing and interface detail required to use this LCD module.

I have no manual for the module.

I posted what I know about it.
I have several of them that I picked up surplus, but I have never used one yet for a project.

...this should be very easy to interface to, but you will likely need some glue logic to bit bang data to correct display positions.
