Need information how to make the PIC circuit with connector to an programmer.
Programming should work even if the PIC circuit has power switched on. But should also be possible if the power of the PIC board is not availabel.

I already have good info on programmer.

Any one has a proven circuit design that works well?

Hello!

I'm also interested in ICSP of PIC. You can find info on ICSP on Microchip web page. Can you proced me info about your ICSP programer.

Best regards!

Thanks guys for your reply.

The programmer I use for ICSP is the good old David Tait type programmer together with free IC-PROG (which is a very good and easy to use program). I wired the program pins via a flatcable to an female header which plugs in on the target board. If you like to have more info on this then I can upload it to file manager.

There is also a programmer called JDM Programmer which also claims it can be used for ICSP. I've build the circuit, but did not try it yet.

What I really like to have is an ICSP+target board schematic which can program a PIC and also can communicate to the PC.
This offcourse not only for the F877 but also for the F84 types.

Msmax,

Would love to see that circuit. Would
it be possible for you to upload it to
filemanager? Thanks!
