Mplab can be used for programming using PIC Start Plus , Leap Start Plus(Clone of PIC start Plus) and ICD1, ICD2.
ICD2 can also be a programmer for many ICs Better than many programmers. U can find ICD2 Clone Schematics in edaboard itself
enjoy working.

I think that ICProg is bettest and multilanguage.

I have 01 chip PIC16F54. Can i use Winpic to program this chip ? Please guide me. I'm using JDM programmer, Propic2 Programmer and Pic16pro. Thanks.

I need it for insert into a batch program for reprogrma the device depending on a menu selected by the user.

Hi,
me too, I believe also this is the best one...I have tried it...it doesnt need any other files...
IC-prog didnt work well with winxp....
