decade BCD-decimal counter, how

I need to modify an older counter where 74F190 chip died. Is there any chance to make a substitution with 74LVC (maybe 74LVC109) chips that can count up to 200MHz. Needed is only decade UP counting and reset to 0.

74LVC isn't for 5V node. 74F190 has actually 100 MHz minimum specified counting speed, unfortunately most logic families don't achieve a similar speed, and there are only few decimal counters left among active parts. Seriously I see two options:
- Try to get an a 74F190 from an antique chips broker
- Design a replacement with a sufficient fast CPLD, e.g. a GAL16V8, 5 ns speed grade

Yes LVC is 3.3V which is not a problem. I considered it because it is 4-4.5 ns speed and seems to me simpler but I am not shure about result. Solution with CPLD will take me too much time to learn how to program it.
At an another problem it was possible to clock 74LVC109 up to 400MHz and...
