CNG level project in Car
hi
i am working on the project in which i want to get level of CNG in Car and want it to digital and send it through SMS .i have some problem concern about this
i am woking IN MickroC
the CNG car used Slider resistor having two wire only. the silder on the top change value

as shown in figure i want a circuit in which i can change this in to voltage and can interface to pic18f452 ADC

Circuit diagram for the resister to voltage conversion

Requirement for the circuit

• The value of resistor goes to 11k at maximum value of pressure
• The value goes to zero when there is no pressure in CNG kit.
• 5V is used to define the output
 5V shows maximum pressure
 0V shows zero pressure

so plese help me
i want to select the value of R1 so please guide me

here it is but in this approach u have to use 2 Regulated supplies 5 and 12

CNG level project in Car - voltage divider

0 volts for no pressure
5 volts for maximum pressure
