not allowed access?

Hello, occasionally recently I have been presented with a "your not allowed access to this server" type screen.

Tonight for instance (about an hour ago).

Is this just me or has there been any server problems?
Or am I just getting paranoid... Very Happy

Cheers,
Roland.

Added after 1 hours 20 minutes:

happened again shortly afterwards.

Re: not allowed access?

There has been a few error pages recently which seem to indicate that the web server could not connect to the backend database.

Its also possible while he has been modifying scripts to see that error while some scipts were updated and the others had not yet been uploaded.

But the only one I seen was a script error unable to connect.

Besides time outs and other kinds of unreachable server, I've seen the said error from time to time.

Re: not allowed access?

My work around is to check in here first whenever I get on the net. If I am unsuccessful, I can still check my mail and visit other sites and then try here again. I have never had two refusals in a row.

not allowed access?

Since some days, I get quite often a TCP connection refuse by the edaboard server. The board can be unaccesable for seconds, minutes, or even longer.

Also the said Error 403 (Access forbidden) appears from time to time, but less often.

Also I experienced a new issue: When posting to the board, I get:
Quote:
Your message has been entered successfully.

And after a few seconds, when the browser should automaticly redisplay the topic:
Quote:
The topic or post you requested does not exist (it was removed)

When redisplaying the topic, the new post has been discarded.

P.S.: As you could see, something was appended though, but invisible to me.

Now I think it's fixed. We have made kernel upgrade today.
Sorry for problems.

Such things happen rarely.
we hope that this upgrade takes care of things for some time to come and we would enjoy using the site.
