Hello
I have my Bachelor in Electronics and wish to do MS in communication.
I have interest in digital/satellite communication and computer networking and wish to learn further by choosing project (General). General topic related to above will give me time to work and narrow the field.
Suggestions required from people of communication and networking fields.
Regards

Circuit simulation software: Multisim, Orcad, EWB
Antenna simulation software: Ansoft Designer
Also working on Code Composer Studio using C++ for embedded system and take keen interest in working networking Field.
Also I have inclination towards WSN field and SDR.
Based on above information, is it suitable to jump into WSN field.
What your suggestion
Regards

Personally, I'm not a fan of WSN as a field. Its more like an area to me, where you have sensors gathering data and wireless transmission used to send that data (I think many people would argue about this )
I would be interested in designing a modem using the DSP (you know CCS), if you are good at designing antenna you can create a simple wireless transceiver.
Ask your supervisor, to me this would a really good project.
Also, if you can spare some cash, try to have a look at GNU SDR. I assume you have good programming skills, the choices are many in SDR; RADAR, GSM, etc
Good Luck
