Re: Hello every body

Not with just a rectifier, you will need some extra components. Smile

Re: Hello every body

Some extra components will also be used to get the -5V & +5V supply i.e. a negative voltage regulator(7905) and some pasive components.

Yes, if you use a transformer with a "center-tapped" secondary. The center-tap will be the "common".

Re: Power supply Question

hi

Added after 1 minutes:

may i know the diagram in constructing the power supply with transformer ranging from 3V to 12V?
also how to connect the rotary switch to the transformer?
also, if i had to put a LED to indicate the the 3V or 4.5V etc. individually that i am using, how do i connect them?

Re: Power supply Question

Full rectifier means a brige using 4 switches. If u want -5V, then u just flip all switches in the same circuit w. +5V rectifier.
