Hi all,

I have a dvd of cst2009 software. But I can't install the software in my computer (window xp). Anyone could tell me, step of installation cst2009 or suggestion about that.

do you mean cst dvd studio.. did you brought it or download it from share server?

you can do this steps for files uploaded by team shooters:

1.Install the software
2.Run CST License Maneger and click on “Stop Service”, Closed CST License Maneger.
3.Copied the files and folders in the “Shooters directory” in “C:\Program Files\CST STUDIO SUITE 2009”.
4.Onece you`ve done this bit, you can start CST License Manager and click on "Start Service" and then OK.
5.Now start CST DESIGN ENVIRONMENT through START All Programs.
The "Specify License" pop-up window will appear and Left it checked as "Remote" and put 127.0.0.1 in the server box and closed.
that`s it!! CST now opens up.

It is successful for installation of CST 2009. But when I copy file in shooter, there is pop up window of error. Does it have the effect of program?

maybe it dose not work, you could have a try another fix. good luck!

Sounds like the main controller (distributed solver) is already running - you need to shut it down first. Check out the icons in the system tray (bottom right of screen, next to clock). You will probably find two CST related - the main controller and a solver server. Quit them both and re-install.

Hi, erik_himura I have done all you wrote but I get an error message when I just especify the address of the 'remote' server: "check the Imgrd log file, or try Imreread. (error code=-97)

could you help me with that? thanx

for installing CST 2009 first u install whole software and when the whole software installed properly then go to start and then CST option and then open licence manager and then press the stop service button and then copy the all licence file and put into the CST directory and then again open CST licence manager and press Start service and then u open the CST design environment.
I Think ur problem has been resolved.

Hi all,

I'm using Vista. Already installed the CST2009 but the problem is i cant do the 'Stop Service' part. 'Error code of Service Manager: 0' message appeared. Anyone please help me ASAP..i need to do my project.
