Hi I think if the date of the post is mentioned on the page it will make us not reply to posts whose author has asked the question a year ago. I know that someone else might need the answer but however no one is finding if a similar question is asked before

The post date should not be removed so you can see how old the post is.
If you do a search on a subject click on the thread itself, then sort so that newest post is first (last reply)
Otherwise if you think it is too old, just dont reply

| yes this is at the front page but if you go to the main page of the post there are no date right?

Hello
My suggestion is to lock the post automatically after a specified period (say 3 months).
Most of them came back to front page, while some one searches for something.

| when a reply is made will still the date of the post first made remains !
