frame view layout
Hi friends,
What is the cell view and frame view of a design and what is the difference between them?
How can we create cell view or frame view for a design in Astro and in SOC Encounter?

astro frame view
CEL View is the Full Layout of ur Block, whereas FRAM View Abstract View of ur Layout which ur tool uses for Place and Route.

Once u create ur reference library and the required inputs like tech file etc ... we have to create design library and create ur own cell where ur Cell view and FRAM view is created with different versions... Hope this helps.....

making a view only iframe

Thank u for the reply.
I think abstract generator from Cadence create the abstract view or fram view.
whats the tool from synopsys?

frame view and cell view
for that in Astro we use create macro abstract for generating FRAM View
