hi!
i want to control microcontrollers at different place through internet using a website.
such that one microcon can communicate with another microcon at remote place through internet and can exchange information.

how can this be done??
is it possible?
plz if anyone has any information tell me abt this in detail...

Yes it is possible and its been used in many applications.

For communication through Internet the first thing you need is a static IP.
and also you will be needing Internet connectivity Hardware and its interfacing.

Like for Wi-Fi you will be needing a hardware with the Wi-Fi connectivity
for ethernet you require a ethernet port in the controller

and above all you have to implement a TCP/UDP stack for ethernet communication

If you can use an ARM controller then this all can be done easily otherwise please specify your hardware

but i m totaly new and working for first time on any project so can you tell me more abt STATIC IP, INTRNT CONNECTIVITY HARDWARE.
or suggest some site whre i can get all the information.

also what is arm controller?? and where i can get it??

microcontrollers remote internet


There are several boards based on Microchip PIC processors. Microchip has a free TCP/IP stack that is well supported with lots of features. There are also some WiFI boards available.
