Hello everybody,

I'm currently learning using orcad capture. I've a problem on making some kind of link between chips. What I mean is I want to make new part which represent pins for power and ground of the chip and that part work like an alias. May I know how to do it? I've tried googling and read some book but still didn't find the answer. Attached is the picture which show what I mean.

Anybody have the idea? If I just make like the picture, when transfering the netlist into layout, there will be two 74HC164. Is there a way to make it to be only one 74HC164?

I don't want to unhide the power pin because there are 5 of them and it will be messy to unhide the power pin for all of them. Is there a way I can represent power pin with one part just like the small part in the picture which connected to the capacitor?

The picture above using other software. It kind of implementing alias but not at wire but for pin. Any idea anyone?
