ATmega8535
hey ppl!!!!!!!
i'm doin a project where i need to convert a 12 bit parallel data top serial form.......using a atmega8535.........
my problem is how to do this using the micro

i'm not very well acquinted wid the rules of parallel transmission n stuff.......

cn ne1 please help wid some kinda code or something.........

i'm really stuck wid this and cant proceed further untill this part is done.....

so please guys help me out here.....
any kinda help would be much appretiated!!!!!!!!!

why don't you better use some parallel to serial converter IC.

Also tell me a bit more details about this project,may be i could help you in this regard.

What device is generating parallel data that you need to feed to microcontroller for converting to serial.

May be you need a multiplexer to split 12 bit ti 4+4+4 or 8+8 bits with 4 bits ignored.
