Hi,
we are supposed to design a bandpassfilter and a waveguide using one of the following programs: CST microwave,AWR,ADS.
which one do you suggest that we should learn? ie, which one is easiest to learn and has sufficient user interface and necessary tools?

| I think CST is the best choice, but not the easiest.

| I guess the best one out there is agilent genesys. I has all the features and is cheaper than the alternatives, although still pretty expensive if you are buying it on your own.

For filters you could use Dionysus http://www.comnav-eng.com/dnload.asp
For waveguides CST.
