transistor config.
Can anybody tell me the congifiguration of the transsistor in this circuit(lie detector circuit).. If m nt worng... its a common collector! and what kind of biasing is done to it? and whats the need of the capacitor there???

Hi

Capacitor is used due to following reasons:

Capacitor functions as a smoothing capacitor and removes the 50Hz induced mains hum that is found on a person's body

You do not need two batteries and you don't need that old transistor for the very simple ohm-meter circuit.
