Wavecom GSM no activity

I recently purchased (eBay) a Wavecom GSM module which came with the device itself, serial cable and antenna.

After connecting the device to the computer, there is no activity light, should there have been a power cable that should have been shipped along with this device or is there an alternative way to power this device?
