Low Voltage
I am new to this forum. I need help with the attached circuit. I am getting chattering on the relay due to a low voltage on A1. Can some one tell me why and how can I solve it?

Your drawing seems wrong. Also Pin 3 should not be connected to anything.

Thanks for your prompt response. I noticed that in your schematic it says IGT <= 15mA
The Triac I am using has an IGT <=35 mA
Will I have to change the resistors and capacitor values?

The diagram is from the application note. Try it with your triac and if you have more problems get a triac with Ig ≤ 15mA
