| What software do you have access to? You have a topology in mind that you want to lay out, or you want to simulate using EM solver to obtain the characteristics of the structure?

| i dont think l-edit has models or pcells, i could be wrong tho. i know that you can draw and do drc but i dont know the extraction capabilities. what i normally do is either use the pcell provided by foundry or design my own structure using ADS Momentum to generate the equivalent circuit model for simulation. if you want to optimize for a particular L/Q/size/etc... you should use a tool such as Cadence Virtuoso Passive Component Designer or ASITIC by dr. niknejad (http://rfic.eecs.berkeley.edu/~niknejad/asitic.html). for asitic you willl have to write a tech file for your PDK if you don't already have one.
