ARM based SoCs


Hi,
In recent years, the ARM IP licensee numbers have drastically increased in almost every SoCs. In the Industry ARM became a monopoly what was the real reason for ARM's success in the SoC market ? Im pretty sure that many of the ASIC/SoC engineers can answer in their views like hardware point of view, software point of view, tool/support point of view, cost point of view etc...

ARM based SoCs


1 - Managers buy it because they think it is a safe choice. As the saying used to go, no one got fired for buying IBM
