Many people use hyperterminal to communicate with a microcontroller.
I’m not sure the results of what are you expecting to see, but if the microcontroller is programmed to send and receive ASCII characters you will see them on the Hyperterminal screen.

Hi,
Try Using DOCKLIGHT software.
here is the link,evaluation.Its easy n simple.
http://www.docklight.de/download_en.htm
downlaod Docklight V1.8 after entering into the site.

| I always use the uart as output for my program monitor. If things don't get that far, it's output on a single port pin.
