Hi all,
I am redesigning the layout for a MC13213 transceiver based circuit, whose RF receiver portion contains a PCB antenna, an RF switch, a Balun and the transeceiver differential signals by integrating one LNA and its associated circuitry.
In order to make sure that the board layout works fine, what all things need to be taken care( Datasheet of the LNA provides certain stack-up and guidelines, but I want to change the PCB dielctric material to a different one( R4003 to FR4)
Would anyone help me in identifying what all simulation ( using IE3D) will help to make the the layout perfect? And to the simulation, the PCB layout file will be sufficient?I am new to the tool IE3D
Thank you.

Hello,
You need to know the Substrate material properties such as Thickness, Er, Losstanget & frequency of operation...
Then import the layout DXF or GDS format & set the dielectric layers...& simulate...

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion.
Does anyone have a copy IPC-2252 for RF design?
