Floorplanning question
Hi,

What floorplanning brings apart reducing chip size, wires length and congestion.
Is there other advantages ?

Floorplanning doesnt do anythign but CORE PLANNING, ie it will fix the core area,how we can place standard cells N all can be done in floor plan..... congestion N all taken care while routing...

Thanks jagannathkb, I know that. I just tried to say that placing the cores in a geniuous manner, can simplify the routing.
