HI,

I am a beginner in Linux. I would like to port a linux kernel to a 8051 Microcontroller C8051F120(128kB flash memory 8KB Ram ).

Is this really possible?

What book would help me in porting a linux kernel to a modest microcontroller such as 8051?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not heard, Linux kernel supports 8051.
A linux project called Uclinux [ http://uclinux.org ], visit this page and check what are the MCs are supported this project, http://uclinux.org/ports/
