Hello
Need a bit of opto help
Have a project
5 volts in
24 Volts out
How do I locate the correct opto to handle the 24v DC, small amps out ?
thanks
Mark

Hello
Thanks
I have done that already and am confused but the infromation given.
http://www.optoinc.com/optocouplers1.html
has a listing of most optos, there are several voltages listed in the .pdf.
I assumed it would be emitter to collector voltage ?
If so, 4n25 is listed at 6V max.
Do you have any personal experiance using these at 24V ?
thanks

6 volts in 4n25 is max reverse voltage in light emitting diode , and the collector to emmiter max voltage is VCEO=30V , and reverse VECO = 6V
