How about a car counter at an automated parking lot, where the micro knows how many parkins spots are available in total and it displays the number of free and occupied spots, based on how many cars enter and exit the lot?

You can use any micro. Perhaps a PIC is a good choice. Then a couple of dual 7-segment displays, plus two switches to count the cars in and cars out. Could make a nice little project, that actually does something.

You could do even better and make yor own
I recomand a robat that does has you tell it
that way you would not have to make it

What about a PIC controlled dimmer

Hi,

You can use your microcontroller to take input from a Heat Sensor and then display the current temperature in all units i.e Centigrade, Fahrenhiet and Kelvin. It would me the most simplest project. You can display the temperatures on an LCD.

Decision is upto YOU!!!
