Hi all

I would really appreciate your help in two questions: (I have to prove them for homework and I am literally stuck):

1) Prove that the mean kinetic energy of an electron is KbT/2?
2) Prove the relationship fro the density of state effective mass of Si?

Any help would be nice!!
