choppy / not smooth 3D polar plot in hfss

hi. i'm simulating an antenna at 5GHz in hfss.

the results for the 3D polar plot are choppy (shown in the picture).

my airbox is lamda/4 or greater away from the antenna. the airbox is greater than lambda/4 from the antenna because i need to include the metal sheets. i put the airbox lamda/4 away from the metal sheets.

i don't think the metal sheets are the reason for the plot to be choppy. i think the plot not being smooth has to do with the radiation box.

does someone have an explanation.
