The best way out is to try verilog tutorials. Find one from the internet.
YOu can download Modelsim trial version, or modelsim from @ltera site, to simulate verilog. Well you can also try to learn VHDL, and a free VHDL simulator, starter version is available for free on http://www.symphonyeda.com
YOu will not have to buy any hardware to learn verilog, but if you are too keen to build some hardware, you may order a FPGA board from
http://www.xess.com
hope it helps

There are some examples at http://bknpk.no-ip.biz.
For beginners I would suggest http://bknpk.no-ip.biz/MiscellaneousHW/regFIFO.html
More advanced verilog examples: (VCD Slave free code)
http://bknpk.no-ip.biz/SDIO/CRC7.html

Full Speed USB Project : http://bknpk.no-ip.biz/usb_1.html

Hi,
Try to download the software evita verilog from the website of the company aldec. Make use of the sites www.asic_world.com. Get the book written by samir palnitkar.
