| I need a software that can simulate the reflector surface of a paraboidal antenna. I want to see the 3D patters of the antenna and do far field analysis. CST takes way too long to simulate. I have heard of GRASP9, but the student version is only 24 Mega Bytes. I don't think it can do too much. Can anyone tell me how good the full version of GRASP9 really is? Can anyone suggest any other softwares? Thank you.

| Grasp9 is base on Fortran if i'm not wrong, thus the program is small.

| Search this site for comments about TICRA and Sabor. They are opposite ends of the spectrum in capability but will give you a starting point.

Thanks to both of you.
Azulykit, can you tell me which one is better, Sabor or Grasp?

Define "better".
The differences are obvious in the software and you will have to decide on cost, difficulty of use and performance of the software. Sabor is around $25 and TICRA/Grasp is probably around $10K to $20K (just a WAG!) and used by professional reflector designers.
